The game is also provided with a credit system by which players can buy those plants to save their home from invading zombies.

The game field is divided into many horizontal tracks where the plants can be placed to repel zombies. Apart from plants, the players can also use another tool named lawn mower to kill zombies trying to reach front door of the home. We can find about 49 different types of plants which can be used to block the activities of about 26 different kinds of zombies.

Each plant has different ability to repel zombies. Sunflowers would be helpful to get light at night times. Peashooters are the ones which will be able to fire two peas at a single time and these can be said as the best and cheapest weapon to use. Torchwood is another plant which may cause more damage to zombies while firing peas at them. Winter-Melon is an upgraded form of Melon Pults which would be helpful for freezing the activities of zombies.

There are many strategies to learn in order to get nice game experience. It is advisable to be provided with only a limited number of plants to block zombies as the player needs to maintain good economic health throughout the game.
